Finally got around to watching the whole video and I have to say this is easily the funniest video on your channel. Especially with the gen 6 portion of the video at one point I woke up my partner from laughing too loud. Even though there was obviously some things I disagreed with I still just had a really good time listening to your opinions on everything or even some parts of the franchise I liked. You should be very proud of this video Lilly!!!

I cannot tell you HOW many random UA-cam videos and TikToks I came across made by complete nobodies to "criticize" the music when it was pretty standard; nothing amazing, but decently catchy with nice tunes. It disgusts me what those drama youtubers did to you. A couple of years ago, I tried watching one of their poisonous videos and the accusations of child predation were right next to your media takes and treated with the same level of severity. If the other stuff about what courtney did to you is true, that's sickening, and i can't imagine how awful that is for an abuser to weaponize the effects of their abuse. On another note, I'd like to thank you for a lot of the videos you made. I found your channel while I was figuring out my political identity, and it helped a lot in my discovery of Marx.

The way you know this is all misogyny is Legolas' mere existence. He's absolutely a Mary Sue, and everyone loves him because he's the best, but if he were a woman he'd be vehemently hated. ...Actually come to think of it I wonder if this is why Tauriel was hated so much. Aside from her romance with Kili (which is not that bad and actually really interesting), she's a total boss who openly defies King Thranduil and spends 90% of her screen time kicking Orc ass. So of course the loser fanboys got mad that they'd dare to have a woman slaying and having a romantic arc in a "boys movie". Honestly we need to make a rule that anyone who screeches about girlbosses is not allowed to have opinions on anything.

I absolutely adored this video! Your chatoic commentary made me laugh out loud many times to the point where I had to rewind to make sure I heard that right. All the British jokes especially made me smile as someone who lives there and puts up with our backwards nonsense.

Not a quest/story line to tell but a weird first experience in gaming for me: I started like many others when Blizzard shit the bed in SL (even though it took me a while) and made FF14 my main game during the pandemic, due to the ARR pacing and my still WoW wired brain I tried to semi-rush to the endgame, I read the MSQ and watched the cut-scenes because I was told this was the big focus about the game instead of endgame but wasn't too attentive and beelined from one msq to the next being the 110% efficient ex-ce raider and all. This continued until the characters and story finally hooked me somewhere at the end of ARR and with it already being easily 50~ hours or so and another 4 expansions to go I finally internalized that this will be a slow burn, so I finally changed to a more relaxed and "smell the roses a bit" approach letting myself get immersed and set myself up getting comfy with tea etc. And when it was all "over" in endwalker and I've cried my eyes out many times over the 6 months it took me? I finally understood the quote "No man ever steps in the same river twice" and just wished from the bottom of my heart I'd taken twice as long.

I came here because some guy was roasting your takes and I wanted to see yours first before watching his video, but after watching this....I don't...really see a reason to watch their video. There's a few arguments I don't agree with, but the fact you understand Nemona (she's just Goku, not some stalker) and managed to put into words why gen 5 is so terrible makes me think your haters are too defensive over a series that really doesn't need protecting.

YES, that’s exactly right! The attraction and flirting phase of a romantic relationship takes up a lot of mental real estate for people who have never been in a longer term relationship. It’s also VERY applicable to teenagers. If falling in love is your main experience of love, then you can end up thinking that that’s all there is to romance. I’ve been with my partner for almost 5 years, and falling in love is a much more fleeting, and in my opinion a much less interesting experience than actually being in love and building a relationship with strong foundations. A slow burn about falling in love just doesn’t speak to me as a reader, or as a viewer of a show. If slow and steady is what’s on the menu, then I’m not interested in a slow build up TO a relationship. I want to see the slow build up OF a relationship.

I've pointed out to my friends that kiteman and captain boomerang are just batman wannabes Ala his rogues gallery is a reflection of himself to the Flash and I just got nuhuhed. Like I don't want to defend suicide squad kills the justice league but I'm the only person that seems to be OK with Harely mercy killing Kevin Conroy's batman because if she didn't his last role would've been them turning him into the bat that laughed which was the logical conclusion to the Arkham series if he somehow survived the suicide calendarman predicted. And yes they would've done that terrible idea they turned the red hood into the arkham knight and tried gaslighting him as a new oc and were butt hurt that people guessed he was Jason Todd. The best depiction of batman I've seen recently is the webtoons sieres were they more focus on him being a cringe dad to the bat family because the greatest thing he can do for Gotham is be a role model who guides his family to helping out and doing REAL ACTUAL public services for the community like teaching self defense classes and participating in volunteer work(outside of moonlighting as batman and as stated being a cringe dad). But back to Harley the Sucide Squad works best when it's the what if to the justice league like it's supposed to be. And Harely turning the Gotham turnpike into a twisted metal stage is the greatest form of villainy and lampshade to how evil actual highways are built as well as a classic golden age thing I could see her doing
